On Saturday 14 June, Auckland Grammar hosts traditional rivals, King's College, in the annual 1st XV match. This is one of the greatest rivalries in New Zealand school sport and every year is a showcase of great talent, passion and pride. To celebrate this wonderful fixture, and get a head start on the festivities, the AGS Old Boys' Association is pleased to invite you to an Old Boys luncheon on Friday 13 June.

Date: Friday 13 June 2025
Time: 1pm
Venue: Grammar TEC Rugby Club (36 Reihana Street, Orakei, Auckland)
Dress code: Smart casual
Ticket Price: $195 per person or $1,950 for a table of 10. Tickets includes a sit-down meal, soft drinks, beer and wine (plus a special edition Grammar hoodie)

Given this isn't any old lunch, there are a couple of additional features to note:

Theme: Blue and Gold attire is encouraged!

Photos: dust off your old AGS team footy photos, take a snap and send the image through to agsoba@ags.school.nz. We'll be displaying these on screens throughout the day (along with a collection from the School archives), doesn't matter if you were 1st XV or 7C (or anywhere in between), just as long as you gave it plenty in the jersey!

Merchandise: please enter your shirt size when you purchase your ticket (your ticket includes some merch to mark the event, and wear to the game the following day).

Teachers' table: we are bringing along some legendary Grammar staff (past and present) to get involved.

If we manage to get through the bar tab, a cash bar will be available. There'll also be a raffle on and spot prizes on the day.

This is a great opportunity for Grammarians to catch up, reminisce and celebrate our great School. We have limited numbers, so be sure to get in quick!
