Interview with the oldest living Old Boy, Dr Laurie Reynolds '28

Members of the Headmaster's Heritage Committee have been speaking to some of our Old Boys about their careers, and how their time at the School shaped them. Heritage Committee team member Mark Galloway had the privilege of talking with Auckland Grammar School's oldest living Old Boy, Dr Juda Laurence Reynolds '28 and his son Dr Roger Reynolds '61. Mark spent much of the Term 2 holidays gathering information and researching before finding Laurie who is 106 years old and has had an extraordinary life. He served in World War II and played a crucial role in establishing the first Coronary Care Unit at Greenlane Hospital in Auckland, which was influential in establishing the first Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit in New Zealand.
